John Elder is one of the original pioneers of Internet Marketing. He created one of the Internet's earliest advertising networks in 1997 and sold it to publicly traded WebQuest International, Inc. at the height of the first dot com boom. He then built a biotech b2b company and sold it to a group of investment bankers.

Next he developed the award-winning Submission-Spider search engine submission software used by over 10% of active internet users at the time. He then built a network of over 4,000 affiliate websites selling millions of products.

John then founded Codemy.com, where he's taught over 20 million people to code; created over 100 online coding courses and published several best-selling coding books.

Today he teaches email marketing through his podcast and newsletter at Spamnesty.com.

John graduated with honors from Washington University in St. Louis and lives with his wife April in Las Vegas with their dogs Aspen and Ivy.
